Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882) was an American essayist, lecturer, philosopher, and
poet who led the transcendentalist movement. He encouraged self-reliance, the pursuit of
truth through nature and intuition, and living authentically. His timeless words continue to
inspire individuals and leaders to this day.

- To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest
accomplishment. - Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
- What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
- The earth laughs in flowers.
- For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.
- The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be. ────────────────────────────
